MANILA, Philippines—Head in the Clouds Music & Arts Festival fans were treated to two days of exciting live acts and dance-worthy tunes when the festival last December 9 and 10 at the SM Festival Grounds with an all-star lineup of Asia’s biggest artists.
As an official festival sponsor, Johnnie Walker took bold steps to add big flavor to the event, serving delicious highball cocktails to festival-goers as they danced and sang along to the music of the various artists who took the stage.

Signature Highball Cocktails
The signature highballs of Johnnie Walker are light and refreshing cocktail serves that masterfully blend the boldness of whisky with sweet, fruit flavors. At Head in the Clouds Manila, Johnnie Walker provided three delectable highballs for concertgoers to enjoy while strolling through the festival and taking in all of the live performances.
The Johnnie & Lime highball is sweet, light, and tangy, kissing the smoky flavors of Johnnie Walker Black Label with a citrus kiss. Meanwhile, in the Johnnie & Ginger highball, the spicy, fresh aromas of ginger combine in a smooth and balanced highball that packs a tasty punch.

To add to the excitement, both the Johnnie & Lime and Johnnie & Ginger highballs were topped with a sweet cotton candy garnish – a Head in the Clouds exclusive that added an extra sweet finish to each signature highball that tasted just as good as it looked!
The Johnnie & Grapefruit was the third highball served at the concert, a crisp, vibrant drink with a splash of tangy with every sip and topped with sour tap. This attention-grabbing, IG-was a big hit with festival goers.

Masterclasses in Flavor with World-Class Bartenders
For all Head in the Clouds Manila attendees, Johnnie Walker also provided a unique masterclass experience to explore their whisky flavor profile and taste the rich, complex, and balanced flavor of Johnnie Walker Black Label in a variety of ways.
Each masterclass was hosted by a World Class Bartender who led each attendee through a flavor discovery quiz to help determine their flavor profile before serving up a highball tailored to their results.

Concertgoers also get limited edition Johnnie Walker x Head in the Clouds festival merch at the bar through a variety of activities. This trendy concert merchandise included a bucket hat, tote bag, fan, and flag, which attendees took home to remember the first Head in the Clouds concert in Manila.

The Philippine leg of 88rising’s Head In The Clouds festival featured musical headliners NIKI, Joji, Jackson Wang, Rich Brian, EAJ, and Yoasobi as well as ZEDD who performed a special DJ set at the event.
